Introduction

Prosthetics and Orthotics Clinic is an integral part of the rehabilitation unit & works in close collaboration with the multispeciality medical team, physiotherapy department, occupational therapy department and also with the social service department.

Orthosis is defined as an externally applied device used to modify the structural & functional characteristic of neuromuscular & skeletal systems. Basically it stabilizes or immobilizes a body part, prevent deformity, protect against injury, or assist with function.

Prosthesis is an artificial device that replaces a missing body part, which may be lost through trauma, disease, or congenital conditions. It is of two types – exo-skeletal and endo-skeletal.

Aditya Prosthetics & Orthotics Centre provides specialist orthotics, prosthetics, orthopedic and rehabilitation services. We focus on offering a wide range of consistent high quality and up-to-date rehabilitation services that allows us to improve the care of divyangjan. The centre is dedicated to provide prosthetics and orthotics product and services of the highest quality & precision at reasonable cost for abiding patient’s satisfaction.

It is only Centre in northeast to have Multispeciality Hospital attached.

This Centre was inaugurated by honorable Chief Minister of Assam, Shree Sarbananda Sonowal, on 3rd January 2017.
